Aaron Douglas

  Aaron Douglas was part of the Harlem renaissance movement of the 1920s Douglas went to school in Kansas for painting and Illustrating. Douglas work is amazing when i first saw it the color makes you want to stare for hour i love his work!!! I live in Harlem but i really know much about the culture and artists around that time but after seeing Aaron Douglas's work I've become hooked and want to know more about the Harlem renaissance artists they are all amazing in their own way. Douglas was known as "The father of African American Art".
